# City Music Society

> City Music Society presents free lunchtime and occasional evening classical concerts in the City of London, supporting outstanding musicians at the beginning of their professional careers.

City Music Society was founded in 1943. The Society's regular concerts are held at St Bartholomew the Great, West Smithfield, London EC1A 7BE, with occasional concerts at other City venues. Lunchtime concerts normally begin at 1.05 pm, admission is free, and a programme is included. A collection is made after Young Artists concerts to help support future performances.
